Visitor Guidelines

During this current public health situation in regard to the most recent coronavirus (known as COVID-19), our visitor policy has been temporarily amended to reflect infection control safety concerns. In order to prevent the spread of COVID-19, we are asking all visitors, patients, and staff members to please abide by the following instructions:

  • Visitors are currently restricted to one same visitor per patient for the entire duration of patient’s stay and may visit during the visiting hours of 8:00AM – 5:00PM.
  • Visitors are limited to patient rooms only unless an appointment has been established for family training. 
  • Social distancing guidelines and appropriately – worn masks are required at all times regardless of full vaccination.
  • Face shields are to be worn along with masks while caring for the patient.
  • Family training will be made by appointment via therapy and will be completed in a separate area of the building; not in the main therapy gym.
  • During the family training appointment, the support person is not permitted to exit the building then re-enter the building during the same day/same visit. All visitors will be advised to bring all necessary items, food, clothing, etc. to decrease community exposure.
  • Each support person will be established prior to admission. Each patients’ visitor’s name will be listed on a roster, in addition to the charge nurse report.
  • Visitors are screened at the entrance door utilizing the visitor sign - in and questionnaire form. All visitors will have a temperature check completed during the sign - in process.
  • Visitors will be given a surgical mask to wear while in the hospital if they show up without a mask.
  • Any visitor who is experiencing a fever  >1000F, and/or symptoms such as coughing, sneezing, shortness of breath, difficulty breathing, chills, body aches, sore throat, headache, nausea/vomiting, loss of taste or loss of sense of smell, or who does not feel well will refrain from visiting.
